Smashion: Material Girl Materialized

Yesterday Macy’s rolled out Material Girl, the 80’s inspired fashion line developed by Madonna and her daughter Lourdes. While the line is geared towards juniors, Macy’s in-store launch party brought out “Madge” fans of all ages. Material Girl captures madonna’s cutting edge style and streamlines it for teens. Although I’m not sure what’s more awkward – shopping for your junior dressed like this:

Either way, I’m glad that Madge and Lola have inspired mother-daughter bonding.
