We are happy for Jason Bateman’s renewed career and pleased for Neil Patrick Harris’s graceful return. But of all the comebacks that we have been waiting for, Pee-Wee is at the top of the list. Paul Reubens found his way into our hearts when we were children, and has nestled there ever since.
Broadway better get ready for the hoards donning bow ties and white loafers – the recreation of Pee-Wees playhouse is coming this October. The hair raising nostalgia that happens the first time you hear “Good Morning Chairy” in that predictable child-like voice, will have audience members on a roller coaster of emotions. We hope, this time, Pee-Wee is here to stay.
