The Papakura District Council in New Zealand has had a hard time getting motorists to slow down during the raining season. Their solution: ”bloodvertising.” Three billboards featuring children’s faces have been posted and equipped with sensors that “bleed” when it rains, creating a very gruesome effect. Results? The Council says there have been no fatalities in the area since the billboards have gone up.
